Michael Webster assembled a group of close friends and musical collaborators for the rhythm section on this project and it was such a blast to make. Chris Dingman, Jared Schonig, Ike Sturm, and I all play together so often that we get as close to telepathy as I’ve ever come. Joining us was the fabulous trumpet player Ingrid Jensen who always takes the music to a whole other level. Mike was going through a hard time personally during this recording and we all surprised him by growing mustaches for the session to cheer him up. Totally Hilarious!!!
