Roland Satterwhite is a wonderful singer/songwriter who I worked with back when I first moved to New York. His songs are beautiful, creative, and he writes wonderful lyrics. We used to play a lot at the Living Room and had a residency Rockwood Music Hall when it first opened. Roland recorded this album in his apartment in Washington Heights. Check out the band’s pianist Matt Kanelos, who is also an astonishing singer/songwriter.
