Suresh Singaratnam is a fabulous musician, composer, and one of the most virtuosic trumpet players I’ve ever played with! This album was recorded over two days at Bennett Studios. I used two distortion pedals on this recording – A Robert Keeley modified Boss Super overdrive and a Keeley Ibanez Tube screamer. I have to say…the distortion sounds pretty huge. Suresh assembled an awesome band and we had a ton of fun recording this music. It features some beautiful playing from Jake Saslow, Lee Pearson, Fraser Hollins, Charenée Wade, and Fabian Almazan.
