I met the Danish pianist Soren Moller in 2002 when we attended Manhattan School of Music together. We became close friends and made a lot of music together while touring with Max Wild’s band. I was honored when Soren asked me to make a guest appearance on this recording. The album was recorded beautifully by Paul Wickliffe at Skyline Pro and features Soren’s fantastic trio – Luques Curtis on bass and Henry Cole at the drums. Soren had me play on the track “Rain” and asked me to rock out as hard as I could…and I had a lot of fun trying.
